This Museum participates in the definition of the Rural Center of Alto Paiva that, in geographic and economic continuity, integrates parishes of the municipalities of Vila Nova de Paiva and Castro Daire. 
It originated in a program to recover equipment and public spaces in the historic center of Pendilhe. Associating with the museum network, the mission of this museum is to promote the memory of agricultural implements, techniques and rural landscapes of the upper Patagonian sub-region, for safeguarding, studying and disseminating them. 
The collection is from the 19th and 20th centuries, and incorporates local collections of agricultural implements, ceramics, textiles, plastic and decorative arts. 
The museum is located at the top of the village, next to an interesting set of traditional granaries with the respective floor and community oven.

It has a temporary exhibition area, documentation center and internet space .. 
Note: There is easy access for people with reduced mobility.
